Saved the best until last -- last PGA for today.

Here's a wonderful 18 inch 36 ounce UBE specially made oversize handle by Sanu for a big guy with big hands. Great work by Sanu -- perfect execution. Excellent khukuri shaped karda and chakma. Village sarke put special effort into scabbard and frog -- new leather and tooled. A 10/10 + rig.

Take it home for $145.

Call or email. (If you don't have big hands pass on this one.)

Just thinking about one of these, but it aint talkin to me.
This one has a home some place else. :)

Uncle and 'The Vacuum of the North' are faster than I am.

AHHH HA! So, we have one clue about the Great Northern Khuk Vacuum. He has big hands! That narrows it down some....;):D

MauiRob,
Either he has big hands or he is handy with a rasp and sandpaper. Those Canadians can be sneaky.

At 36 oz for this model, I'm betting he's got big hands AND big arms....

And has an arm span of 8 feet 7 1/2" with hands large enough to grasp 3 softballs at once without them being seen.

This man fits the Perfect Bodily Requirments for being a Perfect Turret Lathe Operator!!!!:p  :D

That one made me get out my 18" carved UBE for comparison :) Sanu is still maneuvering, I tink. This beauty appears (reflections make it difficult) to have the fuller down the center of the blade, while mine is from the spine downto the flat. The fuller here is also longer, in proportion to the total blade length. The edge bevel on this one is wider, and I'd bet it is concave (just a guess). If Sanu ever gets "there" (wherever "there" is) it should be close to the magical blade. The ones he is leaving along the way are masterpieces in their own right.

Okay Yvsa, now its not fun anymore--I'm gonna have nightmares for a week;)

Such a man would dress in fur and leaves, and NOBODY would tell him he is "out of style"

You're dead on, Wal, and thanks for good PM chuckle.

He is a turret lathe operator and due to his physical capabilities he is paid better than top dollar. That's why he can afford all these khukuris.

Uncle has mentioned the possibility that Sanu could become the next Royal Kami. If so, I can envision a carved-handled, hammer-jeweled UBE as a presentation Kothimoda, with the knife being more important than the trappings.

This one looks sweet, and as Wal says Sanu is still moving the design around a bit - but he's an artist so I would expect that. I have a UBE made by Bura that's nice, but doesn't quite have the feel of a "Sanu".

He(Sanu) seems to think there are a lot of mega-mit Americans running loose over here. Maybe there are.
