top -- 21 inch 31 ounce Chitlangi by Sher. Fit, finish, hardness all just about perfect. Very nice execution. Good even fullers well done. Very good karda and chakma. Excellent Chitlangi style scabbard by village sarki in new leather. If we ever get enough Chitlangis to offer them on the shopping site this one will go for $175. Forumites only take it home for $125.

bottom -- M43 by new kami (K. S. with trisul mark). 17.5 inches and 27 pounces. I don't know who this guy is but he does very good work.
Can't find a thing wrong with this knife. Big blade just about perfect and steel mountings polished up brighter than silver. Very neat cho. They guy's good. Heavy duty karda and chakma. Same old scabbard by village sarki. We'll deliver this very good M43 to your door for $125.

That M-43 looks closer to the ones that Kesar used to make. Only, the handle lacks the curve that my Kesar M-43 has. But, it's much closer than the ones that the kamis have been turning out recently.

If those Kesar M43's I saw here in HI forum were pretty much the way he does it then I think that great old guy does the M43's about the best...right up there with today's perfect Kami..
