No your PC has not rebelled! Photopoint is down for upgrades until about Noon EST.

Now Photopoint just says try back later! Man it's bad when the knife community is crippled visually by 1 site being down.!

You said it cause knife pics on ebay,the bladeauction, here there and everywhere are not being shown.

So who's gonna start the 24 hour always up, knife picture hosting site? This is not funny, they HAD a time estimate, now it's try back later! Can you say bend over and kiss your but goodbye?? It is a bad thing to be so dependent on one site such as we all have, and this illustrates it in spades!

Photopoint isn't the only place out there that will host pictures for free- perhaps a back-up set of pics at another site?

Good in theory Firebat, but unless you put a link to both in each post, or edit the posts when a crisis happens, it's really not going to help. Maybe a photo hosting service that can work on site without taking it down?? I do it all the time with my site!

There are other sites to store photos. I have yet to find one as easy to use as Photopoint.com, but I'm still looking.

By the way, Photopoint is back up and with a facelift. It'll take a little getting used to I think.

I disagree John, looks very intuitive to me, cleaner, faster, lighter. The My Photoalbum/look at my albums is clear concise, breaks your stats down better. I love it, why could they not use a testbed instead of taking the site down? That has me puzzled!
