pic request african ebony damascus mnandi

This obviously isn't a damascus Mnandi but it does have the Ebony inlay. I think a bit of raindrop damascus would go very nicely with this inlay.

haze,

i dont see a pic. also if someone has pics of a macassar ebony that would be great too.

thanks

Really

I'll post a couple of other pics tomorrow, it's late o'clock here just now.....

Also, the rose wood is another nice dark wood to look into, I nearly went for that over the ebony infact.

I hope this pic shows up, you can always click the thumbnail if not.

The wood is actually darker than the picture lets on......

That is nice a Mnanadi.:thumbup:

I have never had a shot at any bark Mamoth that I really liked yet. I do have a bit of cream ivory though.

Beautiful knife, I considered the cream ivory but I wana stick with a darker wood on this. What's the difference between african blackwood and the macassar ebony? BTW do you carry that knife at all? I plan to and I am wondering if I should skip the damascus.

Thanks

I just recently got this knife, and a Jigged Madagascar Rosewood, from a forum member in the exchange. He mentioned that both had been carried and I got it as an edc. From what others have posted, the damascus should hold up fine. I definitely do not plan on abusing it.
The blade is actually ss ladder. The other side of the blade has a more typical "ladder" appearance. I prefer the pattern on this side.
Thanks for the compliments.

yea from what i have read of the last few days i will be fine carrying a ss damascus. i work in an office and i cant remember the last thing i cut with my edc. when i got out on the weekends or in the eveings i would grab something else and leave this at home.
