picked out of a lineup!

well i was cooling my thumbs here from a day at the grinder and noticed that not only the amount of callus. but i seem to have burnt and ground the red ceramic grit from a norton hogger belt into the skin! anyone else notice any disfigeruments that they could pick us out with?

Is it true that they can recognize bladesmiths from the burnt hair on their forearms from standing close to the forge?

no hair on non dominate arm(sometimes legs when prodution is really up). Then there's the cool fingerprints with all the straight lines cut into them. The last signature of a maker is the ability to hold (bare handed)anything that would burn the average person

shappa thanks for the kind words. i am not sure who nwknives are, but it must be a pevaoure. that got it third partie. i will be working with my internet guy soon. all the onezes that are on the rhinosite are sold and have been taking orders for similar pieces. i am up to my ears in gring dust! i will be at the cotemporary crafts market here in santa monica, nov, 3rd 4th and 5th. its high in stuff, we have a lot of the hollywood and internet money here so i am focusing on the culinary knives. this is my first time there so it will be interesting. thanks again,

HA! That's too funny! I'm always misspelling someones name. I'm trying to be more careful. I spell it right and it gets read wrong!
