Picture request; planning my first RAT

Howdy!
I am sorting thru all of my options, before deciding which RAT I should pick up.

I am between the RC3 and RC4.
What I am unsure of is:
Modified or unmodified pommel. Will the pointy one catch on clothing if worn concealed? I had that problem with Steve Corkum knives.
Sheath: I will not be carrying belt loop style. I almost always use clips. The smaller one has a boot clip, the bigger model does not. I often cary bowie knives with belt studs by sliding them thru the belt, or tucked into the back of my pants. Would this method of carry work with the RC4?
Color: I was all set on the tan/green combo (I try to avoid ninja black when I have the option). Then, a buddy told me that green/green versions are out now! Is that so? If so, I'd like a shot of the green and tan side-by-side.

What I am looking for is feedback from you guys on the two models.
I would also like some side by side photos of the two different models, and the different colors if possible.

I have been reading the posts by Tony here and on other forums concerning the RATS for awhile now. I was pretty much all set on the tan/green until I was told of the gren/green. The pommel is also a big deal. I love the design of my corkums, but they 'print' if I carry them, so I don't.

I realize that these are a lot of questions, but I don't leap without looking first. You guys all seem to be passionate about these blades, and all seem to be of the same mindset on things as myself, so I thought.. why not just ask?

Thanks for your help!

Here's a couple RC-4's, on with the Desert tan/Green handle and one with Olive drab/orange handle.

Thanks for the quick responses...

Mike,
I think that RC-4, top, is the one that most suits my needs, or rather, desires.
Desert tan/green handle.
Am I allowed to ask where you got it from on this forum, or is that uncool?

I think the modified pommel is what I want, whether I go RC3 or 4.Tan/green will be the color.
I need to find a pic of the two side by side....

If I ordered a RC3, how can I be sure that it has the rounded pommel? Is there a code or model number?
On vendor sites, the pictures and descriptions of pommels, sheath colors, etc never seem to match up. That is one of my concerns.
I may end up ordering the 4 simply because I know at this point that it would have the rounded pommel.

Thanks to Mr. Hwpaintballer, I found that picture of all 3 models side-by-side.
I appreciate your assisatance!

Some dealers, like Knifeworks, use the term "Modified Pommel" to designate the rounded style. Makes it easier to figure out what you're getting.

All Rc-4 knives come with a black Kydex sheath

Thanks again, guys!
Every bit of info helps me out quite a bit....
I think, at this point, the modified pommel RC3 in tan/green will be my first RAT.

If you're still looking at the RC-4, it can be worn with the boot clip that comes standard with the RC-3. You just have to order one seperatly as it doesn't come with the RC-4, but it fits right on the sheath. They cost less then $5 to buy seperatly. This is how I usually carry mine. It clips nicely to a belt or waist band and is fairly stable. Hope that helps. You'll be happy with any RAT product though. Very high quality and high value.

Deere Man,
Thanks for that! I went and looked after readign your post; that would be the easy way around that catch.
90% of the time, if I carry a blade, it is on me, which is why I like clips. Easy on and off. No removing/threading the belt.

I prefer the tec-loc on my belt....than the belt clip but the tec-loc is extra but worth it to me...carry horizontal on my belt . Keeps the RC3 low key and EDC very well for me in that fashion...

So, it just dawned on me...
The RAT sheaths are tec-loc and tec-clip compatable?
THAT is very cool.
