Does anyone know of a book or a web page that has easy to follow directions on how to make a basket hilt for a Scottish broadsword? Pictures to go along with the directions would be nice too. Thanks all, Charles.

Charles,
I was looking for a lot the same for my rapiers. There doesn't seem to be anything that will fill your needs available.
What I did was to find a picture I liked and, using flexable material, make my own version of the picture. I use brass wire that I scrounge from construction sites and plexiglass from the dumpster of a sign company.
