Plasma Arc

Does anyone use a plasma arc for profiling their blades? How much over size should you cut your profile? I'm tired of grinding out the profiles and laser cutting is a bit expensive for the quantity of blades of the same patterns that I produce. I have access to a plasma cutter and thought it might be just the ticket. Any suggestions?

probably a quarter of an inch outside should give you sufficient room. I was in a shop that was cutting profiles and they figured about .025.--Dan
