Please...Bring Back the Rookie

Is there anyone besides me that wishes they could purchase a new Rookie? I know nostalgia and retro is "the thing" right now, so how about a Rookie?

Navy blue G-10 (or black) and S30V steel, or better yet the new ZDP 189, for an update would be perfect!

The Rookie is one of my favorite designs also. To have it in a newer steel would be great.

A blue G10 Rookie is on my wish list. Absolutely no black for me though. Blech. S30v is not one of my favorite steels, but for the Rookie it doesn't really matter. Anything "good" would make me happy. Vg10, s30v, whatever, just bring it on!

Rookie, one of the best models ever man. The resurrection isn't #1 on my "Wish Spyderco Would" wish list but it's defnitely in the top 5.

Oh, let me just say that if not the Rookie, how about the Standard.

I would definitely buy a new Rookie. I'm still kicking myself for only buying a SE version years ago. A PE version would be great (and definitely a new EDC!!!)

I would love to see it have an adjustable pivot screw like the new Delica will!!!!

I think they need to release an updated C05 Standard with either S30V or VG-10.

loooove the rookie..i think that something slightler larger but not as big as the police would be nice piece to bring it back..even if they didn't do that i would buy 2-3 of them..it is on my top 3 list

I'd love an updated version in VG-10 (S30V is good, but I'd rather preffer VG-10 on this one), maybe full flat grind, linerless CF and wireclip.

But I'll be perfectly satisfied with ANY Rookie

I have a G-10 Rookie that pretty much just collects dust

I never could quite find the niche for it in my carry rotation.
