I need a new pocket clip for my Kershaw Speed Bump (G10 version).. Does anybody know of a clip either off a different production knife or a custom/aftermarket pocket clip that would fit my knife without me having to start drilling holes into it? I dont really care what it looks like I just want something better than the pocket clip it came with. The clip it came with is really flat so when I clip it to my pocket the bottom of the clip sticks up and gets hooked on things. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thank you for your time and for your help.

BTW I tried talking to STR about a custom but he wont do one for the bump.

Hello,

Thats one of the main things that stops me from buying a lot of Kershaw's. If you cant find someone to make you one you could try to make one yourself. It takes some work but if you keep it simple and have a vise, some vise grips, the right size drill bits, hack saw, propane torch, and a file you can do it. A low profile pocket clip is a little more difficult then a normal one. USAknifemaker.com has a bunch of different blanks for $3 to $10, some are flat with no holes and some are completely finished and ready to install. You just have to check the hole spacing and see if the shape with fit the knife.

Have a good one,

Chris

Im probably going to order a few blanks, I already have the right size drill bit. I just need to buy a torch and another pair of vise grips.. recently lost my last pair. I wish there was just one I could buy and know its the right shape size and will fit without me screwing up a few blanks, Im new to tinkering so I suck.
