Absolutely! If the clip can be designed so it's comfortable enough in manipulation and gripping then there's no reason it can't be done! Anyone have an idea where I can get a couple of spring clips and some SMALL torx screws?

Close the patent office.

Taylor made models with pocket clips twenty years ago. That was before there were clips on conventional folders.

Chuck,
can you post a picture or two of the balisongs with clips, or do you have a link to pics? I am highly interested in the design, placement and mounting of the clips, I thought about customizing my BM 45 with a clip for a while now, but never really tried.

Hi!

I actually gotten so far as drilling holes in the handles on my 45, just to discover that i got the wrong size...hate this difference in European mm and American inch system, always get's me confused!

I have cut of the latch on one of my 45's and would love to get two clips attached so i can carry it in my pocket...

I'll let you all know how it will happen!

I actually had a few of the Taylor ones with clips back in the day. They were sold a long time ago. I'm hoping I can find an old Taylor catalog packed away from the early 80's. They had many, many models. Also there is a so-so book on butterfly knives that is more of interest because of the many neat, older japanese knives pictured inside. I'm not sure if that has photos of these or not.

The book is by Donald Bitanga-Chuck decribes it briefly on his site.
