I know I can trust you so :
What would you choose ?
Both are G10 handled, slim and lightweight, flat edge blade.
Military is supposed to be rock solid, but I heard about problems with screws in G10.
I love Police Model, partly because I am a LEO and it is a great classic from spyderco, a must have for collectors.
But I want a utility knife, not a collectible, and I don't know what to think about ATS 55 edge retention.
Thanks in advance.

I would say go with the Military. CPM 440V is, in my experience, better ATS-55 in edge-holding and corrosion resistance. I think the Military also offers a better handle, and better cutting power with the wider blade. I'm also a big fan of the 14mm (bigger) hole. I personally haven't heard about or experienced any problems with the screws on the Military, and if any do occur, Spyderco has great customer service; I'm sure they would make it right.

I red a lot of posts about spyderco customer service, and I know they are top service, BUT I live in France and I know that sending my knife to the US cannot be done without a lot of risks.

ATS-55 seems to lose it's edge rather quickly with normal use. This has been my experience with 2 Goddard ltwt's, anyway.
