Polishing G-10 ?

Edd, it's my understanding that most makers leave it at 220 or so. But you could go to higher grits and even buff it if you wanted to. It will just get slicker and shinier as you go higher in polish and the whole point of G10 is that it's supposed to be grippy. I like the effect of a fine scotchbrite flap wheel. They are available at hardware stores and at Walmart, have a 1/4 shank to fit a drill or air die grinder, are very cheap, and last a long, long time. They leave a nice satin finish on metal and on the G10.

Dear Edd,
I just want advise you that the G10 dust are much bad for us, and you might to use respirator protection or use water on grit paper.
