Can anyone give me their opinions on any of Polkowski knives.Your opinions and any information would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Polkowski makes two of my all time favorite knives. The Kasper designed Companion and Scorpion. All it took was for me to hold one and I was hooked. They feel like they are a natural part of your hand. There are no hot spots. It is very smooth and ergonomic. Their balance makes them very smooth knives to work with.

If you are thinking of getting one, I would say get one, no need to think.

Exceptionally clean grind lines,Excellent designs,Excellent value,Feel great in the hand, very well made.

Ive only handled the CQ and Polecat. Both fit like a glove, and were very quick in the hand.

go to www.robertsonscustomcutlery.com,
there is a picture of a CQ.

I agree with Dirk. I have a Scorpion which has become my favorite carry knife. Very easy to conceal and comfortable to carry. Great, secure handle. Nicely designed double edged blade.

I did need to work on the edges with a Sharpmaker to get it as sharp as I would like.

Hi Reno,

Al's work is among the best, with simplicity being the key! His knives are undervalued, even I have told him he should raise the price.

The problem is getting them. He currently is about 18 months behind.

Although, I understand that there is a dealer out there who seems to get his hands on them pretty regular.

You should check with Dirk, Axel and Matt. As they all got theirs from the same source.

Good hunting.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

I hope to one day join the short august list of forum members who have purchased a Polkowski knife from a confidential unnamed moderator, um, I mean a confidential unnamed source of Polkowski knives.

Polkowski knives, great designs, excellent execution, nice knives.

Polkowski knives are like potatao chips, you can't buy just one.

Thank you all for the information. You have made my decision alittle easier.

Thanks

I just got a Polecat about 3 months ago, after wanting one for a year. Beautiful, ergonomic design I love it. Mr. Polkowski has it right now making a horizontal sheath for it and I'm dying to get it back. I miss it so much. sniff, sniff...I plan on getting it's bigger brother, the Mongoose, as soon as the money is available? Hopefully soon!
