If this is the wrong forum, please let me know. I have both a scanner and a Sony digital camera, but am not too expert with either.Where might I find instructions (preferably very basic) to post photos to these forums? On rare occasions, such as trying to identify an unknown knife, this would be a great skill to have. Thanks!

Call me at 1-904-739-3438 and I will talk you through it. To much to write on the subject here.

You may also want to visit www.altavista.com and use keywords to refine your search for info on the subject.

Thanks guys! Mike, I'll give you a call when I can.I work a strange schedule but will be talking to you unless I just decide to forget it! There has only been once I wanted to post a picture, and I see that it may involve more than I can easily do. My heartfelt thanks for all that you do on the Forums.James

AlaChoctaw,

If you want some additional assistance, email me at

chetchat@yahoo.com

I figured out how to set up a website, a lot of html, posting pics, and all that stuff from scratch, and if I can do it, it can't be too hard

Thanks to all of you, I'm up and running. While I can't post directly to the forums, I can link to my photos through PhotoPoint. This will let me do exactly what I wanted to, which is to occasionally show an unidentified knife. You guys are great, and I'm proud to be a Forumite.
