I'd love to fight one like that. I've caught them up to 20lbs, only in freshwater. Hybrids up to 10lbs. Nothing pulls like a striper or hybrid.

Ive never caught a true striper. Have caught a few hybrids 1/10th this size and they fight like mad.

those folks in the NE take their striper fishing very seriously.. There is a book written recently about the Derby in Mass. Great book! its a true story on one year's derby with all sorts of funny characters. for the love of hotdogs, i cannot remember the name off the top of my head.
