Could you guys remember my oldest son, Ed, today. He spent 6 hours in the emergency room last night (after emailing me with details and I had to tell him to get his butt to the ER...kids...they can leave home, but when all hell breaks loose, who do they call....mom) Any way, he has Strep, Meningitis and probably Mono. They have him on steroids and antibiotics and pain killers and he is really sick. He is still just on quarters and not in the hospital, but that could change if he doesn't improve pronto. He's stationed in Hawaii, so I think they have a good hospital there. He saw all sorts of Dr. last night. He is a carrier for the strain of strep that causes rheumatic fever, so this is quite a concern for them as well as mom. My brother had this stuff and had a massive heart attack at age 24. So please lift him up. I'm concerned. Thanks.
