Here are some quick methods to conceal some E&E gear. I have 2 more parts to this video in the works, and as soon as the ESEE kit comes out, I'll cover that in full detail.

Let me know what you think, and feel free to subscribe to my channel if you want to follow along. :)

Sorry, just assumed people would recognize it. Yes, it is kevlar cordage. It has many uses, but in this case would be to cut things like zipties, duct tape or phone wire.

in a few seconds if you do it right. lace it through the tie, then tie off each end to your shoe laces and use your feet to saw like you were climbing stairs. Alternative would be to tie it off to a fixed item and work it back and forth across the cord but that will take a bit longer. That is how you would do it if your were tied behind your back. That said, you can also bust out of zip ties using the right amount of momentum and leverage.

Interesting. Learn something new every day. I use kevlar thread for tying flies and I'm certain I could practically hang from it. great stuff.

All this E&E stuff is interestingly interesting to my interests. Just kind of cool. Never even had a speeding ticket, knock on wood, but if I find myself in custody of some cartel kidnappers it might come in handy! Or a crazy woman getting even. :D

great video, I'll check out the others once they are available:thumbup:

And awaiting the Izula wallet kit

(if I type that enough maybe it will be fore sale somewhere:D )

Yea I feel the same way, The odds of me ever needing any of this stuff is like a million to one, but I just find learning how fun.

I just read Jeff Randall's articles over E&E for SWAT and it also sparked my interest. It is similar to survival information, in that I hope to never have to use this information, but am interested in learning more about it. Anybody know any good sources of information for escape and evasion?

The SAS Escape, Evasion and Survival book (I think that's the name..) It's different from the SAS Survival book by Lefty Wiseman.

And there are US Army manuals out there on E&E that are cheap.

Assuming you were allowed to keep your clothes/boots if you were in custody, youd have either the drawstring or bootlace it was attached to, so thought it might be something special?

This is why we don't let people have shoes, belts, or hoodies with strings in custody. That's also why we don't use flex cuffs. People will try to kill themselves or you with the simplest things. Ever seen a guy hanging from his t-shirt in a holding cell or a loaded pistol secreted inside a female's privates? Crazy and you ain't heard the half of it.
