All that is left is the final polishing and checking for scratches then make the sheaths..I already have 3 made on my for sale page that should work, but this is just a priliminary judging when I take my test on April 5 (for the JS cutting test that is)Now I can relax and work on some orders until next month when I might have to start on something else for the judging if these don't pass..
They both need engraving but I am not sure if I can have that done before the judging or not,any body else know???
Well here thay are both have aproxiamately 6 inch blades of forged 5160,all NS fittings..The one is a all NS Handle and the other is Ivory and NS handled..They both are going to get full NS sheaths also..Boy is the engraving going to cost me...
Please let me know what you guys think..
Bruce

Sorry about the poor quality pictures,It is late and I took this quickly in the shop under regular shop lights. When they are done I will get some good pictures for you to see.

Those 2 knives are beautiful. I like the top one with the all NS handle because of the clip point and I like the bottom one because it looks symmetrical, and has the ivory in it.

The angle of the picture is all that is throwing the looks of the all NS handle off,It actually fits up just like the ivory handled one does..
Both look and feel good to me..but now or the nit picky Judges to look at them..I am becoming a nervous wreck already..

Bruce, you're a shoe-in. Those are beautiful. I can hardly wait to hear about your testing, though. Have you made your test blade yet, or run through the test on your own? Just curious, there's no doubt you'll set new standards.

Bruce, I got my JS status at last years Blade show. I don't think you will have any problem at all. Every knife of yours I have ever seen would in my opinion pass easily. I have said this before, but thanks again for your tutorials and willingness to share information. Tom Lewis

Piece of cake, big guy :D
Just keep doin' what you do and it'll be fine :D

Thanks for the Vote of confidence everybody..
You know how it goes though, you can do something a million times and never worry about what you are doing..Then as soon as someone says test you start re thinking what you are doing and get all nervous..at least i do.
Thanks again,glad everybody likes them.
Bruce

Bruce, those are awsome, if there anything like your other work, I think it's in the bag. I cant wait to see them with engraveing.
