Well I took the plunge and bought my first large (over 4-5") fixed blade for using. Found a nice "used" project one for sale on the forums and picked it up. Just a few minor scratches on the blade finish, edge was still in good shape. All I can say is wow! Never new what I was missing. Chopped a couple of 2x4's in two and the knife handled great and and was still shaving sharp. Cut everything else I tried it on too. Even quickly touched up on a sharpmaker. This one will be my everyday large carry knife when on vacation every summer and camping/canoeing etc.
Hats off to the Reeve's on a great product/design.
BRAVO
After some scuffs and hard use in a few years what does refinishing/edge work run on the project one?
Thanks, Wade
