I think Danelle is absolutely the greatest, I had the smallest problem and she was so kind as to remedy it with so much grace and care.

Her manner and demeanour raised the bar, and while whe was remedying my problem, she was being funny and thoughtful....

She even sent me a Spyderco sticker, WOW....

Gee, she must like you better! I never got a Spyderco sticker... But then, she is a great Customer Service Person! Sal, you have a great staff! Danelle, Keith, et al!

I agree. Sal has a fantastic group of people working there. With the well thought out and high quality of the products and the excellent service Spyderco has become my favorite knife company. It seems to me the with the new models due out this year and with the switch to 440V on all their US models the sales will start climbing rapidly in the next few months. I am predicting the Starmate will be the best selling new model they have ever had. I want at least two myself. Great job Spyderco!

Regards,

Tom Carey

I agree. Ain't going to say no more, no how, on account of last time I praised these good folks, I just opened a can of worms, which I had to eat, and I think they didn't like me very much, and I hope all that's over because I don't feel like eating any more worms!

I had good service too when I had a clip problem.

What is this about 440V becoming standard on all US models?? Is this above comment by Tom Carey correct? If so I may just "have" to get some new knives.

By the way, why 440V not 420V?

Donald - yes it is true, 440V on a;ll models made in the Golden facility. On 440V & 420V, We've almost got 440V down. Tough stuff to work with. We've done some testing with 420V and plan to do more. Like the vanadium, but don't like the lower chrome. I imagine if it tests significantly superior for our needs, we'll switch, but for now, we know it is hard to grind, but have not found out enough to make a change.
