Hello to all out there!!!!!!!!!!!

What I have here is a 1084 steel blade that has been clay coated and quenched. The blade has been sandblasted but the hardening line is visiable. The blade was forged from 1084 bar stock, normalized, hardened, tempered, then assembled.

Comes with a leather belt sheath that will be made per request for left or right carry. Buyer to specify at no extra cost.

Measurements are as follows:

7 1/4" Overall Length
4" Cutting edge
3 1/4" handle
Wood length is 2 7/8"

Cost is $SOLDdelivered with sheath inside the Cont. USA. Overseas will need to email for shipping.

Thanks for looking

Purpleheart...... 2 7/8" is the length of the wood from the butt end to the wood end... Hope that helps..;

OK, thanks. I assumed the handle length of 3 !/4'' was the length of the wood. That's what threw me with the wood length of 2 7/8". I was considering the tang area as part of the blade length, not the handle.

Daniel,

Received it yesterday. Very nice finish. My first purchase of purple heart. I like it.

This will be a birthday gift for my 10 year old nephew. He will use it to field dress his second deer this fall.
