Awhile back, when you had the thread
with your first forged blade, I was
going to say that it would make a
nice Scagel repro, but decided against
saying anything in case you had
something else in mind. Good work,
bud!

Very nice work:) I relly like the top one. It looks like it was grown, not man made. Keep up the good work.

You are a fast worker. I have been making for a long time. But I don't make many. If your turning them out this quickly you will be
an expert in no time.

Keep up the good work. Remember to keep the cook happy I am a crawler
I made my wife a couple in the early day to keep her on side.

They look great Chuck. Amazing what a little work can do on a forged blade, isn't it. I really like number 4. Looks like it would fit my hand just right.:D Are those sheds or are you thinning down the deer population!

Thanks for the kind words y'all. I really appreciate them:D

Those knives did take about 2 months worth of work, believe me I am not fast. These just all happened to get done at the same time without anyone snatching them from my still smokin' fingers. Hard to keep em' around when ya givin' em away:rolleyes:

Thanks again.

The antler on all these knives comes from a pawn shop in kentucky where my friend Patrick lives. They sell them for $10 a pound. I've never been able to find sheds around here, I think the coons keep gettin' em. I don't hunt anything but does, I think bucks taste like crap. I'll pass a buck up any day for a nice chunky young doe. Lay that in the crock pot with some applesauce and some grillin' sauce (johnboy and billy) and you got some barbecue that will put a pig to shame!!!

Now you need to make a Scagel style hatchet to go with the set.Put it all in nice hardwood lined box and you could probably keep yourself in grillin sauce for 10 years.
