I picked up a little queen city mini-trapper in 1095 - antique green jigged bone on ebay - pretty good deal.

Got the thing in, and it never made it to the box. Straight into the right front pocket. What a nice little knife!

Only thing bad I can say about it is it took half a day to sharpen, because it was as dull as a butterknife. Scratch that - butterknives are sharper than this thing was. So I had to work on it a long time, but it's pretty keen now.

If you are handy with sandpaper and bench stones, you should definitely look into getting one of these before they are gone.

Agreed Zip7 they are a great little slippy, I picked up the set of 4. The thin blade design and 1095 steel are a great combination, and having been made by Queen is F/F is top shelf!

PS- The set of 4 Canoes in 1095 steel are great users too. Also made by Queen.

Here's the pic off ebay - my wife never leaves the camera around where I can play with it.

I've been wanting one of the canoes too, but they are $60 everywhere you look and I won this one for $26

I have several Queen Canoes and enjoy them all, but they do take a while to sharpen.

Enjoy your new knife.

Here is the Amber worm. All of these medium Trappers & the Canoes came quite sharp. Just a little work with the arkansas stone & they all shave! I'm sorry about your guy's luck with the edge.

You have already seen the An. Green but... I did go to all the trouble to take the pic!

The Canoes all came with a slip also. The Queen City tang stamp was used from 1925 to 1945. This is the Red Standard jig.

Thanks a lot - now I'll be out at least another $60. Love those little leather slips too.
