Got my new D2 Amber/Aged Honey Bone whittler in the mail today.

Fit and finish is top notch. Scales are great. I'm contemplating getting another tonight.

Anyone else jump on this wagon yet?

Yep!

I gotta admit, I have always liked the original Carved Stag Bone, but this new Amber Carved Stag Bone is quickly growing on me!

I just received the small serpentine jack. I wish the liner wasnt cut out in the center-I prefer a continuous one on jackknifes. Oh well--no big deal as it will get used and cherished. Liked it so much though that I am contemplating another one soon. I like the color of the handles. It reminds me of the queen city trapper I have; the handles are very similar in color.

That is beautiful, may be the nicest looking material Queen has used so far.

It appears to be the same as the Dark Amber Bone used by Canal Street. I have a half dozen examples of those knives, and absolutely love this material. It has both a beautiful look and nice silky feel.

Canal Street's D.A.B. has always impressed me, and if there is any difference between it and Queen's A.C.S.B., I can't tell it!

Can't wait to get a Cattle-King in A.C.S.B.!

Wow, that really looks nice. I have been pondering a small serpantine jack for a while. Where are y'all ordering them from?

What about the single blade Copperhead pattern? It looks like they changed the blade shape and front bolster, anyone know about this? Is it a different knife, the number is different.I'm thinking about getting one of these.
This is Cumberland's picture of the knife....

This is the old style,

So,is the top #44 a replacement for the #41 (bottom),or a new added knife ?
Thanks,
Vince

It's either a mistake, OR Bill Horn at Cumberland didn't have the copperheads in hand in enough time to get the correct photos on. The #44 is the single bladed large 5-1/4'' folding hunter.

I can see picking up a #41 in the A.C.S.B ....Thanks Phil,

I ran the pictures through photoshop and I think your right, it appears to be a picture of a #44 pattern either standing in for or has been mislabeled a #41 Copperhead.

Here's a Queen #11 Utility I got in today from CKW in ACSB. Twenty minutes with my EdgePro and the D2 is very sharp. I'm liking it. :)
