OK guys, I'm on the fence here so push me one way or the other. Is the double dash 110 considered to be relatively more desireable than other 110's of the same vintage? I haven't really paid that much attention to 110's previously but I must have blinked somewhere because I discovered I have a bunch more than I thought....;o) I have a double dash FG 110 NIB that was purchased early in my addiction, didn't know what it was at the time and only purchased it because I didn't have a FG. I recently located an "as-new" appearing non FG double dash 110 with sheath only for about the cost of a new 110 At WW. Is it worth picking up to go with the FG or really just a common oddity and the money better spent adding something different to the collection?

It is an oddity, but not all that uncommon.

I think a single dash may be harder to find.

Either is collectable.

Just depends on what you have to give for it.

They will get more scarce in the future

I'd buy it. You will then have both FG and normal.

I'd judge it a lot more desirable than a new 110 simply because it will do the same job and it's a bit unusual as well. As Pack Rat said.......these will slowly get bought up and become rare.

Then you can start looking for the FG and normal in the single-dash--and from my experience, they'll be a lot harder to find.

However, you'd be halfway to having all the 92s.

:)

A little more info in this thread. The knife shown below has subsequently been polished up to a blinding brightness. :D Since you already have the FG, definitely get the non-FG!

OK, ya'all convinced me. I went back & picked up the non-FG double dash to keep the FG company.

Well done!!

Now you can relentlessly pursue the Single-Dash pair.

:)

Beautiful wood on that non FG!!

Very cool. They make a nice pair. I have a DD that I picked up some time ago, at a local pawn shop.
I'll add a couple pics to your thread...
