Question about bearings - help???

Hello all,
First off, I want to thank everyone for unknowingly helping a newbie at this addiction by being here with all of this wonderful information. What a great source of knowledge! My problem:
I have received quotes from a few sources on a custom contact wheel, needing a 1/2" diameter bearing. They identify the 1/2" bearing I need as "1616DC". Does anyone know what company would use a part # such as this for bearings? I have a friend who has offered to make some of the parts I need, and I seem to think the bearing to be of great importance, here!

NAPA has a lot of common bearings....or look in the Yellow Pages under BEARINGS>> if you live in a town of any size there will be one or two suppliers.
