Question about Buck Intrepid and Kit Carson's U2

The design of Mr. Carson's U2 and the Buck Intrepid look almost the same. Did Buck license the design from Mr. Carson?

Any reviews on the Intrepid sheath design?

Yes, the Buck Intrepid is a collaboration between Kit and the company. For some odd reason no one has yet explained, is why Buck does not mention Kit at all in their Intrepid description in their catalog. IIRC, the ads for this knife didn't either

Any company working with this maker would definitely be proud to put their name on the same line as his.
