question about Byrd Meadowlark

Does it have a first-finger choil that is partially on the blade - as the Cara Cara does? The pics I've seen seem to indicate it does, but...?
 
Yes, it does have the choil. Half on the blade, half on the handle like the cara cara. I have both the meadowlark and cara cara in black, and like both, but the meadowlark feels much better in the hand. Initially it wasn't very sharp, but some time with the sharpmaker took care of that and I've been carrying fairly often.
