We can see number at spyderco knives , like 567 , ***
Some general model , not include limited model , means 1st production .V means different from phototape .

I wan to know the number from 000 to 999 or 001 to 999 ?

Someone said "the first 200 of a new model carry them." Is that right ? Because I saw 957 at Lum tanto and 968 at Gutting .

Thanks .

I think number 000 goes to Sal Glesser, CEO of SPyderco.

Spyderco used to number the whole first batch of a new model, now they just numbering the first 200 for the collector club.

Senate , thank you .

Another question , spyderco no longer number 1000 from which model ?

Thanks anain .

hard to say when they stopped doing that... My best guess is that the Gunting (I have the #999 :) ) was the last one but I can't be 100% sure.

From what I understand the #000 collectors club number belongs to Sal's lovely wife Gail. #001 May be Sal's or belong to someone else in the "Spyderco family", not sure on that. Any number with a V suffix is a collectors club number, so you will not see any like that with number above 200. Numbering, beyond the collectors club numbers has been done primarily on collaboration models, but has also been seen seen on a few other "special" issues such as the Evolution Set, 20th Anniversary Worker, 25th Anniversary Delica and WTC Knife as well as at least some of the Carbon Fiber models. In all cases, those numbers then ran for the entire first batch, which was "normally" 1200 pieces on the collaboration models, but ranged both lower and higher on some of the others. Of the collaborations, the numbers on the C22 F "Klotzli" Walkers go higher, one of mine carries #1543. Not sure why the practice of doing that on collaboration models was stopped, or which was the last one to receive it. I would be inclined to agree with Senate's guess of the Gunting.
