Have you thought about putting an Survival/E&E Book together? I know there is some out there from other folks but I think we need a good one with lots of photos and drawings and as much info as possible on the subject.

Actually a forum member here and I have been working on a book for a while. ;)
 
The guy we're working with on this is a real-deal, stay in the background, type of guy. He knows his stuff too. Not sure when we will ever get it finished but once we do it will be a combination survival / E&E book.
 
I feel miffed! Now instead of having to deposit a check every quarter, I have to buy something! :D
 
It's not becasue we don't love you, Don. XXXXXXXX (Super Spy) and I have been working on this book for some time now. I'm sure we are going to call on your expertise for a chapter or two though ;)
 
Yeah, the reason I used that word is someone (that you'd think should have some logical brains here) recently eluded that's what I was. It just truly shows their ignorance in some matters ;) Anyway, the real Super Spy # 1 and Super Spy # 2 (Me) are working on putting this book together. Maybe SS1's pseudonym should be James Bond on the book. It sounds better than Ragnar Bensen.
 
:D so far from what I have seen to speed up the process ,all Survival books have the same hashed over stuff ;)......just cut & paste your pics and squirky comments :p to Don's THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT attitude :)
and the book will be ready in 2weeks time :eek:
toss alittle E&E from the Natives and you'll be printing 1st run copies in no time ;) :D

Amen. Dave Canterbury mixed it up a bit in his book but I think that's because before the book he was just like us reading the same crap over and over again. One page is a hand doodle of an edible plant that grows is remote parts of Istanbul and the next page is an overly complicated trap trigger that takes a buffalo to set it off. :thumbdn:
 
I think it should have plenty of pictures.

Like, plenty of pictures of the #1 thing to include in a survival kit....Angelina Jolie.

7 or 8 chapters of that and then one on how to purify water, start a fire and all that other crazy jazz.

Is it going to be Ragnar and yourself?

If so, I get a two-fer, I get to write a chapter or two with you two crazy peoples.

I'm sure I can manage to anger every kid on YouTube and LP101.
 
And it needs a really cool name to make everyone think it's the only book worth buying on the subject. Maybe get a pic on the cover of some guy holding a knife in some crossed fasion across his face with a grimace that make it looks like it hurts to even think of talking to him. You know, like the cover of Black Blet magazine.

I would call it "The Encyclopedia Satannica," but it would turn off Christian readers. :)
