question for old people

I remember seeing a leather sheath a long time ago, that was for a buck 110, and it was a small of the back sheath. it was sort of triangular in shape, and it seemed that it was built for a tactical removal/opening. has anyone else ever seen these?
 
Question for 'old people'?

Dunno if I have ever seen them or not....us 'old people' cant even remember what was for breakfast.

It held the knife part open inside the sheath and then you grab onto the handle and give a swift tug and the knife comes out, blade open. Don't ask me who made these or what prices they were, I don't remember at all. Just remember seeing ads in the magazine! I'm off to pop Centrum and Viagra.... :p LMAO

I remember those just like Dexter described them (I did not know he was old too:)) price was under 10 bucks.

There was a picture of one on here a very long time ago...

Be careful as some states consider it an opening device and may be illegal...

Heck,,just havea concealex sheath made to hold the knife in the open position..

Would be a much sleeker, slick looking rig....

Besides,,leather is for cows and saddles..:)

Dijos...I saw an old guy( musta been alla 40-45:eek: ) just the other day with a sheath kinda like you describe.When I aske him about it he said you can findem in th back of biker mags like EasyRider. Hope this helps.............BTW I am 33:D ............
 
Well I was wondering when one of you young whipper snappers was going to ask a question that I could help you with. Just a minute will I put my walker to one side. Ok, now what was the question again. Oh yea, that sheath thing. If I recall correctly, my memory ain't what it used to be, it was called the EZ Access Knife Sheath. The company that made those doesn't seem to be around any more.

Excuse me young fella, after all that typing I've gotta go take a nap.

I've had young employees (about 18 to 22 year old), resulting in me feeling REALLY old!
 
Yeah, I remember this gadget. It was popular in the '70's
before Sal & spyderco set the knife world on it's ear
with the one handers. Bulky as all heck and sometimes
not real safe. We should be thankful they aren't common
anymore as the Anti-knife crowd would love them.

Oh yea, I not only qualify as "old people" I'm a genuine
"Old Fart" at 56 this year...............

Old?!? Back when I was young(34 now) we didn't have knives, we had to use our toe nails to cut stuff! And weeee liked it!! :) You kids with your new fangled,shiny looking,serrated bladed,g-10,carbon fiber handled knives. You don't know what its like to whittle a stick with your toe nails!! :)
