Question: RAM Blade, Speedsafe??

Just got my Kershaw RAM. I was comparing it to pictures and everything seems correct. Except I noticed that from all the pictures I found the one side of the blade says: Kershaw. by itself.

Under the Kershaw symbol on my knife it says: SPEEDSAFE USA, right under it.

does anyone know why this is? especially when the knife isn't even a Speedsafe.

Take that back just the black/black rams say it the red one doesnt

Great question. Mine does not. I have the Red RAM.

Weird. I have the black/bead blast RAM and mine doesn' t say it either.
Might just be a collectible

Mine isn't black or red, plain edge. Think it makes any difference at all?

I have one that says Speedsafe too. I think it was probably a case of Kershaw not wanting to spend on another stamp or etching for the blade.
