I apologize in advance for tying up the main forum with this question, I just dont know where to post it and am curious as hell.
When any of us post some info is included in the upper right hand corner. Date that we joined, number of post and a small green box that displays odd little messages when hovered over. Mine say Im on a distinguished road, other say that the poster has yet to be rated.
What is the meaning of all of these little boxes and what does the info signify?

If you click the "User CP" link, you will see how many reputation points you have. If I"m not mistaken, that's what that is. It's a "ranking" of sorts. People can add to your reputation, increasing your standing. I'm not sure what all the stops are, but I'm the same as you are right now. :)

Its a rating system. some use it others dont..

for instance if you agree with a post of mine you can click on the little scale on the upper right corner of my post and add a reputation point to my score and post a brief comment.

If you disagree with my post you can also take a reputation point from another forum member. over all as your point value increases so does your reputation on this board. To view your rep points click on User CP on the left of your screen.

Others can also agree or disagree with you post ...

Hope this helps..

When that little box is green, it also means the person is online here. Do you see the scales, in the same area? Clicking on the scales will allow you to add or subtract points from that member's score.

I think it's a fairly useless process, since most of us don't pay enough attention to it to make it consistent or meaningful. A couple of people have gotten seriously upset by some troll zapping them. Don't let it get to you.

It's the green (or grey) dot next to your name that shows if you're online or not, not the square on the right.

Moving to the Service & Support forum....

There's a thread there where I just explained the whole thing a day or two ago: I'm an "unknown quantity"?
