Question

It's a trench knife, illegal in a lot of places... Most of them are cheapos, can't think of a good quality maker of them (outside of a custom).

I know Maxam has a hunting knife like that, but it's not really great quality. If you Google Maxam hunting knife with either the words finger or finger hole you should come up with a bunch of results. A co-worker of mine had one made by Randall a few years ago, but it was stolen. Obviously it will be illegal wherever knuckle dusters are illegal(I'm guessing...so maybe I shouldn't use the word obviously).

Welcome to Bladeforums! :)

The knuckle duster grip is probably going to fall under the widespread prohibitions against brass knuckles. You can find a lot of knives like that, larger and smaller, anywhere fantasy knives are sold. Not a big item among most of us here.

If you're looking for real fighting knives, you will find a lot of them discussed on these forums.

i was wondering, what is this? .

what exactly is this variety of knife called and where can i find more?

Looking at the grip and the design of the knife, I would have to say that is what is known as a "Knife-Like Object."

Don't buy it. Its legality is heavily questionable and its practicality even more so.
