Did Buck ever do a 2-dot 110 with scrolling on the bolsters from the factory. I found one at a dealer and think the 80.00 he wants for it is high.

humm.. no ... it is possible that one was ordered via custom shop
but as far as catalog issue i don't think so ..
but .. dont bank on what i think

Something loosely called "scrolling" could range from real cheap to real expensive (if, for example, it was real cut engraving done by a talented engraver).

In general, if it's the shallow, mass-produced, rolled-on kind of thing it's not worth having and might even reduce the value of certain Two-Dot models.

I don't remember seeing any engraving done by Buck back in those days.

Mitch, I don't think they did any either... But with that said... Buy it if you like it...
I try to buy knives that I like and not what others like... Good Luck... ITE ... :)

I probably would have already bought it if there was any paperwork saying who did it. The scrolling/engraving is deep. Whoever did it knew what they were doing. He's not open again until Thursday (he cuts back during summer) so I can't go back and look at it. If he can show it's and custom mod ala Yellowhorse, Arks Knives or RRR, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and get the silent treatment again:eek::D:D.
