Questions about COLD STEEL Khuk

I recently came into a cold steel khuk with a 9 inch blade and a SHARPENED CLIP POINT ! It is marked special projects , cold stel . I was wondering if anybody had info on these khuks ?

Edd, don't know much about it, but I think I remember that Cold Steel's special projects unit makes alot of odd stuff that isn't regularly available. Maybe someone else will know more.

Can't really tell you much about the knive as far as hands on experience. I have an old Cold Steel Special Projects catalog from 1994 and it's one of 3 models that they offered in it. I think it's also in some of my older ones too. They called it the MTC Kukri(their spelling not mine) short for Mini Terrain Chopper.

IIRC it was Cold Steel MTC kukri and was sold on regular basis, now discontinued. Guess it's because of its very fat shape.
You should definitely try UBE! I've once touched it, and was stunned by its more than perfect balance.

We've got several Huntsvillians here. Don't know anything about CS except I've got a little knive (2 inch blade) by them that I use for opening boxes and it works pretty good.
