more pics of the hike coming!

It was a very nice sunny day here in Vancouver BC. JCA21 met up with me to strong arm more money outta my wallet, for some sweet gear :D (The dude has sold me like 4 knives, and somehow sold me back the Maxped Jumbo shoulder bag & Sure L2 I sold him last year....ROTFLMAO!

at the beginning of our hike we found a dead gardener snake (garter snake). Looks like it had been sunning itself when a bird decided to chomp into it.

we hiked thru the woods, not on the muddy trails. Found lots of fatwood and harvested some. We then stopped at a small bluff overlooking the powerlines below and had some hot beverages

Those are great! The color is sweet. What camera are you using?

a very old Canon Powershot A560 point and shoot. Post edit in Windows Live Photo Gallery (contrast, highlights, color, saturation and sharpening)

WOW!

I ran my fingers over the screen and I could feel the texture of the coating and the G-10.
:D    awesome.

I plan to (after my truck repairs are done), get a Macro lens and a DSLR, I love taking close ups and pics of bugs and stuff. The little point and shoot doesn't cut it

yea, down here in the Lower Mainland....go up another few hundred feet and its sub zero and tons of snow!

I'd save the money you'd use to buy a DSLR and lens and buy more ESEE knives :D Those pics are fantastic for a little point and shoot!

Outstanding pictures, looks like you had a great hike as well :)

Thank you for sharing!

Taking a hike just to get pictures of your knives makes sense to me, Bushman 5! But that scenery is worth the walk. Great pictures, nice collection of good knives, and all set in nature's beauty.
