Quick RC-6 question?

Hi everyone. I'm pretty new to BF and I'm really enjoying the RAT forum here. So far I've only got an RC-4 (which I love) but I'm working on ordering an OD/Orange RC-3. Anyway I hope to pick up an RC-6 soon as well but I had a quick question about them. Are they currently available in the Desert Tan color scheme? If not, will they be anytime soon? I'm trying to get a RAT in each color. Let's here it for variety! Thanks.
 
Welcome to the forum, I too just ordered my first RAT Cutlery blade, the RC4 in Orange/OD. I will have it in hand tomorrow, looking forward to it. Now to your question, the RC6 is not currently availible in any other color, I have no idea if there are plans to release it in the other color options although it makes sense that they will in time.
 
we have to crawl before we can run....there are supposed to be some more standard RC 6's released to dealers this week and we'll all fill backorders with those. Then hopefully more soon and THEN we can think about color options!! :)
 
Thanks for the info guys. I'd like to say that I'll hold out until some other colors are available but I'll probably end up ordering one with the normal color scheme. The RAT website says the SERE RC-5 will be 'earthtone'? Seeing as that one won't be out for a while I've got my incoming RC-3 (thanks Derrick) to tide me over :)
 
Well, you can get an OD/Orange RC-3, a Green/Tan RC-6 and a standard RC-6 and have all the color options!
 
True true. My RC-4 has the standard black/gray colors but the coating was removed from the blade and the top section of the tang while it was being convexed at BKRT. It's a really cool look.
