Finally got my new Kozuka. Blade is 3.5" of double hollow ground S30V with maroon rayskin and sterling silver dragon menuki under the wrap. Sheath is moleskin lined kydex with kangaroo leather over the kydex. Typical R.J. sharpness. Hairs just jump off of my arm.

Wow Danbo, again you post a picture of a knife that gets me drooling. That is as nice a knife of that style as I have seen. I love that blade.
 
R.J. did this blade special for me. I wanted the double hollow ground blade instead of the chisel ground. The blade style is somewhere between the model 4 kozuka and model 5 listed on his site. Whatever; it turned out awesome.
 
I've been wanting a Kozuka just about exactly like that one for some time. I'm not wild about chisel grinds either, but might take one on that knife.

S30V seems like the perfect steel for a knife that lends it self to covert carry such as this one. Stainless, tough, and holds an edge.
