This is a beautiful Camp Bowie I recently received from Ron. It has a 5" flat ground blade of 3/16" ATS-34. The blade possesses nearly perfect grinds and has a beautiful satin finish. The stainless bolsters are also satin finished with the pins just barely visible and then only because of a slight difference in color between the pins and bolster material. The gorgeous Kingwood slabs are both dovetailed into the bosters, and attached to the nicely tapered tang using two very intricate mosaic pins and a stainless thong tube. The handle has very comfortable contouring and is quite secure when gripped in spite of the finely finished wood. Like a dummy, I failed to take a picture of the supplied leather sheath which is simply exquisite. I have not had the chance to properly use this knife other than for very light cutting. This weekend I should have the chance to do some chopping, limbing and splitting of some seasoned Cherry and Maple from out in the woodpile. Hopefully I will also have the opportunity to skin, bone and cut up some Whitetail as well. Will post my review next week on how the knife performed.
