So annoying. My old Ariens snowblower needed new belts and I stupidly forgot to take pictures of everything before I disassembled it. The original manual is of no help becase the schematic shows the traction belt hidden behind the auger belt in the picture.
I can't think of any other way that this is supposed to go. This is why I'm not a mechanic. It's going to be really embarrassing to go back to the same shop where I just bought the belt and ask them if they can proofread my work.
The internet being what it is, have you tried doing a search of the exact model? Wouldn’t surprise me if you were able to pull up some YouTube video of someone doing a complete overhaul of the exact same make and model, but at the very least, you might pull up photos of the routing.
*** I was pretty surprised to find a YouTube video of someone doing a troubleshoot/tear down of the exact make and model of the ~30+ year old furnace installed the house. Followed the various steps and fixed the problem (heater stopped blowing hot in the middle of winter, on a weekend

).
Then the beginning of this winter, it stopped blowing hot again. Realized I must have inadvertently damaged a part the previous winter (it worked the rest of that winter, then failed this past winter). Looked up videos again. Found the ONE remaining part in the country apparently, on eBay (every HVAC place I tried said, “OOS. No firm availability date”).
Had it overnighted. Watched the same video, and replaced the old unit. Hey… back in business.
Even with the overnight shipping, total cost was $1xx. If I’d called an HVAC company, they would’ve just said, “Sorry, that part is not available, but we can have a new furnace installed for $$$$$”.
