Randy Lee makes some of the most beautiful hunting knives I've seen for the money, and I have one and want more of them. But the customer service aint so good. I've sent him two emails in the past 4 months and recieved no response at all. Does he care about his customers? He can't be that busy...
 
This would probably be better in GB&U.

Now, personally I prefer to talk to people. I use the phone whenever possible. Email is just not a reliable enough communication channel to depend on, IMHO.
 
I agree, pick up the phone. I'd leave one message, then assume they don't want my business.
 
Depending on e-mail with a lot of makers is not a good thing. A phone call is really the only way. I have working relationships with many makers and 99% of the time it's by phone!
