OK, if this doesn't sell, that's OK by me, I'm torn about letting it go, but I'm still scrambling to raise some cash for some things coming, so, I figured I'd give it a shot, the price is firm, like I said, I'm not all that anxious to sell it.
OK, amazing BIG 9" fighter bowie from Nick, I don't know about you, but I can't recall the last time I saw ANYTHING by Nick for sale in the secondary market, there is a good reason for that, well, 2 reasons, Nick doesn't make a ton of knives, plus, the ones he makes are flawless, people don't generally let perfect knives go, which is, again, why I'm really torn about it. And, even when you may have seen a couple of Nick's knives for sale, I bet they weren't full size bowies.
Presentation grade ironwood burl handle, satin finished stainless double guard, the fit of the blade to the guard is absolutely flawless and seamless. The grind is flawless, as is the satin finish on the long, sleek blade, with the long, unsharpened top clip.
Nick is well known for his truly world-class fit and finish, buy this bowie, you'll see why, nobody makes a finer knife, and I don't care what initials follow their name.
Anyway, get this jewel for $995 shipped, insured, 2-day mail. It's large, so the shipping alone with insurance will run me around $20.
You are of course free to return it for a refund if you aren't pleased with it, I can't see that happening, but it's nice to know.
First to email me with those famous words: "I'll take it." gets this treasure at this price. No trades please unless you have a sweet Bradshaw, Hanson or custom Strider folder.
Thanks for looking, here are pics.
