RC-6 Question

I think I asked this back in the development phase, but nothing was finalized then.

Is the RC-6 going to have a blunt point like the RAT-7 (something like a 90 degree included angle), or is there going to be some distal taper so the point is usable?

Bottom line: Ontario does not grind the RAT knives properly when it comes to the point and it screws up the geometry of the knife. We have complained about this for years to Ontario (and have all the emails and conversations to prove it, not to mention numerous customer emails complaining about the grind quality). Again, poor quality is one of the reasons we started RAT Cutlery. Ontario's quality was(is) hurting our reputation. Shon Rowen knows how to grind and build a knife and that's the reason he's doing RAT's work now. The RC-6 will be ground correctly.

IS R.A.T. going to come out with a stainless version of these super-looking knives?

TIA...

AC

P.S. I totally agree about the old Ontario knife tips. Glad to see a more useful design.

Maybe some stainless in the distant future.
