I'm sad to say this RC4 will be flying it's way back to fellow forum member Kgd soon and as he asked me to put it through it's paces I keep tryng to use it on tasks that I usually use my other knives on. Unforunately the weather is keeping me from spending as much time out as I would like but I did find one task for the knife today !!!

Check out this ugly lump of Fatwood that I found today......

Splitting this stuff up is sticky, messy work so I decided to let the RC4 see how it coped.....

Although not as hard as the Maple I tried it on before this Fatwood does have some tough spots and I showed the RC4 no mercy.
It came through with flying colours and revealed the true beauty of the Fatwood !!!

RC-4 lovin! I had another waiting for me when I got home today, put on the Molle locks and strapped it on the side of my Falcon II pack. I went with the tan this time, really sharp looking and a nice contrast to the orange/olive one.

That's some sweet lookin' fatwood Pitdog! Looks like the RC-4 did a number on it without breaking a sweat. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
