Re-grinding a damascus integral fighter

I shared this on a french knifenuts forum but I thought it deserves to be shown here too :

Here is a knife I had made by german (old) maker Fritz Schneider a few years ago.

I was pretty pleased with this fighter... but something looked wrong to me regarding the blade grinding. Then I asked the maker for re-grinding blade's profile. Here's the knife. No comment but this one : this guy is gifted.

I like the longer swedge.

That's a gorgeous knife.

I concur with Keith, the longer swedge does look better. He did a great job on it.
