This is my reason I always buy more than one knife at a time

Because you never know when you might have to arm all the ones you love against a giant, rabid chipmunk.

Sorry, just kidding!. Great pick!

How many others out there buy more than one knife of the same at a time for what ever reasons? 'Enquiry Mind Wants To Know !'

Mark, congrats! hehe... You're able to post it finally! And no problem, as I can house the pics for you as long as you want.

Anyway, my reason for collecting knives is, well, because I love them!

I don't have a happy family like yours (my ex left me, and I'm just with my kid, but I do love her a lot!) so this is my way to killing time, collecting and appreciating knives. I know I can pass these on (some of them at least) to my daughter when she grows up.. Imagine what that'll do to future suitors-to-be! lol!!!

Ooops, seems to be off-topic there.. where's my brain?!?! ughhh...

Anyway, sometimes I get more than one knife of the same model, if I have intentions of giving them to friends.

Sometimes, I get two of each model, so that I can keep one in pristine condition, while I can use the other one for daily chores.

My favorite reason was stolen from a post on rec.knives: "I don't need one, but I also don't have one." It can be extended as much as necessary: "I don't need two, but I also don't have two."

Because knife store owners will give me knives for FREE!!! All the ask in return is a little bit of green paper... and hey, it grows on trees ya know
