Well - I got my first ESST (the HEST) about a month ago and have since dyed the handles a deep orange using Tangering RIT dye for about 45-60 minutes - that and sliced myself with it f'n around with the sheath.. Here's the rest that I have purchased so far. I haven't used any of them yet but I still love 'em. Can't WAIT to get outside and try some of these out.
The 3P-CP and 3P I just got in today and I want to try swapping the handles. I also just got the 5P in today as well (with 6 handles on it) that came with the Eagle nylon sheath which is pretty cool - I may dye the handles and try giving them some texture or having my Dad (who has a laser engraving company) attempt to put a patterned texture on the scales...
I can't believe how much of a BEAST that thing is... crazy. I think I like the feel of the 6S-CP in hand better with the choil and overall weight but the sheer mass and brutal feel of the 5 is definitely confidence inspiring. Don't have a favorite... yet.
I have an AH1 too but it's tucked away in my survival tin. Thanks ESEE - you guys make awesome stuff!! Sorry 'bout the crappy pics...
