Recommendation for everyday carry?

I'm considering buying one of the following production knives for everyday use. I recently purchased two customs (a Bud Weston W053C and a Brad Duncan Whiplash) but they're for collection and I don't use them for day to day chores. I need something smaller for the pocket, and here's what I'm considering:

1. Emerson Mini CQC7 Linerlock

2. Microtech Lightfoot or Lightfoot LCC Linerlocks

3. Buck Mini Strider Linerlock

4.) REKAT Pioneer II Rolling Lock

I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have on the comparative value and quality of these and any other similar production models.

Thanks.

I have a Microtech LCC and I can say it is a wonderful knife. It has great looks, comes razor sharp, and has real strong lockup. The fit and finish is top notch.

I also have a Buck Strider Tanto, large version. It is also a very good knife. It doesn't look as pretty as the LCC, but it will get the job done. It is a very strong liner lock and it is also much stronger than the LCC in my opinion. It is much more suited for heavy duty use, and abuse than the LCC. HTH.

King, with your rather limitless knife budget why
mess with the also rans you've picked out??

Buy the best everyday carry you can afford.......
buy a SEBENZA and get it over with.

You'll never be sorry.

4.) REKAT Pioneer II Rolling Lock.

Yup, that'd be my choice of the knives on your list.:).

Out of the knives you have listed, I would go with the MT LCC. I have one and love it. Also if you decide that you want to spend the money on a Sebenza, I don't think they can be beat for EDC.

I currently have a large Buck/Strider tanto. I've got a mini coming in the mail, and I'm looking to get rid of all my other large and medium user blades.

Not hard to figure out which one I favor.

I'd wager that it's the strongest knife on that list. Not stronger than the Sebenza, most likely, but it's also an entirely different kind of animal.

I have a rekat poineer, and I love it, but for daily carry it is very heavy, and kind of bulky, I always new it was on me, I like my daily carry knives to not be noticed until I need them. I would suggest the microtech although I have never handled an LCC, I love my other microtechs. The emerson is fine, but I never really thought mine was that great for utility tasks. I can't comment on the buck strider, but I am not a big fan of buck, so I say LCC.
